Syd Staggs Endowed Advocacy Award Fund
To provide annual awards for students enrolled in the Colorado School of Public Health. Awards will be used to recognize students who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to advocacy for underserved and disadvantaged populations in public health.
Syd Staggs (1994-2023) was a graduate of the Colorado School of Public Health MPH program. Syd was a true leader, advocate, and friend, who embraced their passion and purpose to reduce health inequities and promote social Justice for underserved and disadvantaged populations. In the spirit of Syd, the Syd Staggs Advocacy Award was created.
