CU Denver Alumni License Plate Program

To provide support for scholarships at the University of Colorado Denver through the purchase of a license plate.
Obtaining a CU license plate in the state of Colorado is a three-step process.
Step 1: Make a scholarship donation to CU Denver Alumni of at least $50.
Step 2: You will receive a gift confirmation email within one business day that will include the State of Colorado certificate for the license plate. Print this email or show it to the clerk at the DMV.
Step 3: Pay the required DMV fee for obtaining specialty plates (currently $50).
Currently, the only available plate design is the one featuring Ralphie. Subsequent designs are not yet in DMV production.
