Consistent with Dr. Robert Emde’s groundbreaking work and inspirational leadership, in-memory-of gifts are dedicated to supporting further inquiry into the organization of human emotions in the early years of postnatal life, the psychobiological behaviors regulating the organization of parent- infant relationships, and the impact of emotions on individual and family life. These gifts will advance his longstanding dream of improving the health and welfare of children, Native and non-Native, to which his work was dedicated.
