Rudy Lee Horne Memorial Fellowship Fund

To provide graduate fellowship support for students in the Applied Mathematics Department at the University of Colorado Boulder. If $25,000 is raised within five years, the fund will administered as a permanent endowment.

This Fund is being established in memory of Rudy Lee Horne, who received a Master’s degree in Physics, a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics, and a Doctorate in Applied Mathematics from the University of Colorado Boulder. Dr. Horne was the first African American to graduate with a Ph.D. from the Department of Applied Mathematics.


Bidwell Lab Gift Fund

To provide support for the administration and research activities of Cinnamon Bidwell's Lab at the University of Colorado at Boulder, including the Mobile Lab.


Media Enterprise Fund

To provide general support for the activities of the Media Enterprise Group at the College of Media, Communication and Information.


Barney Ford Fellowship Fund

To provide aid for students enrolled in the Graduate School of Business in order to increase diversity, in honor of Barney Ford.


National Ocean Sciences Bowl - Trout Bowl Fund

To support activities and expenditures related to the regional NOSB competition, the Trout Bowl, hosted by the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES) Education and Outreach at the University of Colorado Boulder.

CIRES Education and Outreach is proud to host the only land-locked regional competition in the country. Competing teams have come from Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, South Dakota, New Mexico and Kansas. Every spring, the winning team travels to the National Ocean Sciences Bowl (NOSB) finals competition.


Vaughn Family Endowed Child Care Scholarship Fund

To provide undergraduate scholarship awards for students enrolled full-time (at least 12 credit hours per semester) at CU Boulder. Recipients will be those students who have children under school age who require daycare.


IEEE Conference Travel Fund

This project raises funds for all costs associated with the IEEE Conference. Any remaining funds may be moved to an Astrophysical & Planetary Science discretionary gift fund at CU Boulder.
