Addressing Root Causes of Conflict and Forced Migration in Africa

Thank you for supporting the Center for Collaborative Synthesis in Archaeology's collaboration with the Initiative for Sustainable Development in Africa (ISDAf).

In August 2022, we are hosting a workshop in Zanzibar, Tanzania to address conflict and forced migration in East Africa resulting from poor land development planning. We have received funding from the Wenner Gren Foundation for Anthropological Research to partially defray the costs of flights, accommodation, and food for 12 African scholars and 4 scholars from beyond Africa to attend the August workshop.

Your gift will help defray the costs for additional African scholars to attend.

Please click the link below to help support the ISDAf meetings in East Africa through an earmarked contribution to the Center for Collaborative Synthesis in Archaeology (CCSA) Support Fund.
