Spruce gulch

CU faculty and students have conducted research at the private Spruce Gulch Reserve in Boulder County for almost 25 years. The donated land, valued at $10.4 million, will now be managed by the university’s Institute of Arctic and Alpine Research (INSTAAR).
The Davison family

Former teachers Frances and Ross Davison pledged to create the Richard Keith Davison Endowed Education Scholarship fund at CU Denver to honor their son, Richard. The fund will support teachers who are interested in serving students with differing abilities.

A recent $1.15 million commitment from the Walton Family Foundation in support of the Water Desk and the Western Water Policy Program builds on recent philanthropy supporting CU Boulder’s sustainability leadership.

A gift from CU Boulder alumnus Spike Buckley will fund a robust sustainability curriculum at CU Boulder, empowering students and faculty to engage with the environmental challenges shaping our future. The gift will establish the Buckley Center for Sustainability Education.
